A CILENTO’S WATERFALL IN THE GUARDIAN’S TOP 10

by | Jul 20, 2019 | Friends

Cilento is full of enchanted places, which make me think I am in another world. In this wild green area, not far from the spectacular Amalfi coast, you will find breathtaking rocky canyons with freshwater pools, streams and sparkling waterfalls. Near Morigerati towards Casaletto Spartano, surrounded by greenery, there is a waterfall called “hair of Venus”(capelli di Venere), composed of suggestive and delicate waterfalls. This is a truly spectacular place to swim, dive and cool off in the fast-flowing streams of the small waterfall, which flows over a moss-covered cave. From the parking lot another path goes further downstream leading to a curve with other beautiful pools to explore. These are quiet places, you can walk up the slope of the hill above the pool, and find a picnic area. A landscape you will never forget.
