The project came to life in 2021 in Ascea—ancient Elea—from the meeting of Gloria and Nicola, both natives of Cilento and trained in Pharmacy at the University of Siena. Officina Eleatica was born from a deliberate choice: to bring the scientific expertise acquired elsewhere back to their homeland, to enhance it through a deeply rooted, conscious, and sustainable endeavor. The name itself is a tribute to the Eleatic school, which even in antiquity united knowledge, nature, and healing, placing medicinal plants at the center of understanding.
For Officina Eleatica, natural cosmetics are not just about production, but a cultural process that weaves together science and tradition. Each product is born from a careful study of the properties of plants and a completely artisanal manufacturing process, which preserves the quality of the raw materials and reduces the environmental impact. The decision to operate without industrial processes and using predominantly local ingredients reflects a clear vision: to create value starting from what the land offers, without forcing it, but respecting its rhythms and balance.

Who are Gloria and Nicola?
Gloria and Nicola are two young people from Cilento united by a dual bond: their personal connection and their deep attachment to their homeland. They met in Siena while studying pharmacy at university, where they developed scientific expertise and a shared vision.
After completing their studies, they chose to return to Cilento to build their life’s work there, bringing knowledge and innovation back to a region rich in resources.
